The Donegal Poetry Festival
Each summer there are 3 ten day workshops.  The Poet of the day gives a morning lecture, an afternoon workshop and an evening reading.  The Faculty  will include John Montague, Medbh McGuckian, Sherod Santos, Paula Meehan, Richard Tillinghast, Billy Collins, Paul Durcan, Thomas McCarthy, Bernard O'Donoghue, Janice Fitzpatrick Simmons , James Simmons, Theo Dorgan , Frank Ormsby ,and many others.

• The M.A. in Creative Writing


• A year long, intensive, residential degree validated and awarded by Lancaster University, Lancaster England.



• During the year study includes;  Contemporary Irish Poetry, Contemporary American Poetry, Irish Language Translation, Workshop, and Traditions and Form.



• The current External Examiner is Eilean NiChuilleanain of Trinity College Dublin.
